About Me

Thank you for visiting my website my name is Eric Velez, and I look forward to helping you cultivate stronger relationships.

I am a certified Prepare Enrich Facilitator

I am currently a graduate student at Nyack College in New York City for a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT), with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from the University of Connecticut. 

I also did my clinical internship at the Christian Counseling Center in Norwalk, CT, and I will be pursuing my MFT licensure upon graduation.

I have had more than 8 years of working experience in social services, families, and consultation.

I have 2 years as a certified prepare/enrich counselor, I was a care coordinator for Child Guidance in Stamford CT, and I was a social worker for the state of Missouri, in Springfield.

I have a background in biblical studies and ministerial training from the Assemblies of God Seminary. 

My Goal

With these years of expertise, you will find my approach very effective. I want all my clients to feel heard and cared for. At the same time, I will be transparent and honest when we are working together. I want you to grow closer together as a couple. There is almost no problem that cannot be overcome with hard work and a little bit of hope.
